Kalen Goodluck is a photographer and investigative journalist from and currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He comes from the Diné (Navajo), Mandan, Hidatsa, and Tsimshian tribes and is a tribal member of the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota.

Goodluck received an MA in Journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism (now Craig Newmark School of Journalism) and a BA in Human Rights at Bard College.

He covers Indigenous Affairs, environmental issues, public health, and extremism.

His reporting has been in The New York Times, High Country News, National Geographic - Travel, Mother Jones, and WIRED.
